About the role
The Purchasing Analyst will support the GBS Americas shared services centre by managing the end‑to‑end procurement process. You will create purchase orders, keep transactional purchasing data up to date, and act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Key responsibilities
- Generate and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate transactional purchasing records.
- Communicate purchase requirements and status with internal teams (GBS P2P, Procurement, local business colleagues).
- Coordinate with external suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve issues.
- Support the standardisation and optimisation of procurement activities across the region.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Procurement or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, finance or accounting roles.
- Experience working with local clients and suppliers in the supported country.
- English proficiency at B2 level.
- Availability to work Monday‑Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. in a hybrid model.
Required skills
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
