QA Tester (B2B Applications)

About the role

Medallo.dev is hiring a QA tester in Medellín to ensure its B2B applications built for clients work correctly for every user, role and dataset. The role is full-time and hybrid: one day a week in a coworking space in Medellín, the rest remote. Pay is up to COP 8,000,000 per month depending on experience, with 15 days of paid vacation.

Key responsibilities

• Write and maintain test plans covering each feature, user role and permission level
• Build and manage test suites and test cases, keeping them up to date as the product changes
• Test data-intensive workflows such as imports, exports, reports and filters, including large or messy datasets
• Verify role-based access so each role sees and does only what it should
• Report bugs with clear reproduction steps, expected versus actual results and evidence
• Work with engineers to verify fixes and run regression testing before each release
• Report test status, risks and release readiness to English-speaking clients

Required profile

• English at CEFR B2 or C1, spoken and written
• Experience testing B2B applications, with multiple user roles and permissions, and data-intensive apps
• Experience creating and managing test plans and test suites
• Experience working with English-speaking clients
• Based in Medellín and able to work from a coworking space one day a week

Nice to have

• Some experience with test automation (Playwright, Cypress or Selenium)
• Experience with a test management tool such as Linear, Jira or TestRail
• Comfort using AI-assisted tools in daily work
