Quality Coordinator

About the role

Join our Palmira hub as a Quality Coordinator, reporting to the Quality Lead. You will support the implementation of Unilever specifications, standards and the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure product safety, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Unilever QMS on the site, ensuring alignment with local regulatory requirements.
• Conduct internal quality audits and support external audit preparation and certification.
• Prepare and maintain local procedures, work instructions and quality verification self‑assessments.
• Collect, analyse and report quality data, linking it to standard loss trees and operational KPIs.
• Manage product incident data, support mock recall exercises and ensure traceability of materials and packaging.
• Utilise SAP QM and InterSpec systems for quality documentation and verification.

Required profile

• Experience in a manufacturing or sourcing environment, preferably within a consumer‑goods company.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to product safety and quality.
• Ability to work autonomously, make decisions impacting consumer safety and brand reputation.
