Quality Engineer II

About the role

Responsible for assuring that products meet established requirements and standards through audits, inspections, and testing. The role collaborates with multiple functional departments, suppliers, and external experts to implement Zimmer Biomet’s quality goals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits, inspections and test activities to verify product conformity.
• Formulate procedures, specifications and standards for products and processes.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans.
• Collect and analyze data for gauge and product evaluation.
• Identify critical personnel, gauges, procedures and materials needed for new product launches.
• Ensure suppliers have the information and capabilities to deliver quality products.

Required profile

• B.S. in engineering or equivalent; certification as a quality engineer (e.g., CQE) preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in medical‑device or orthopedic industry.
• Ability to work in a team, build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and meet deadlines.
• Strong oral and written communication skills across multiple organizational levels.
