RAN Engineer

About the role

ZTE Colombia is seeking a motivated RAN Engineer to support and enhance mobile network operations across its portfolio. You will work in a multicultural environment, contributing to the design, implementation, and optimization of cutting‑edge wireless technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for live mobile network operations.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and performance issues in GSM, UMTS, and LTE networks.
• Assist with network implementation, testing, and optimization activities.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare technical reports.
• Collaborate with customers and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in wireless/mobile networks.
• Experience with GSM, UMTS and LTE technologies.
• Networking knowledge; CCNA certification is a plus.
• Intermediate level of English.
• Willingness to travel when required.
