Regional HR Generalist – Colombia focus

About the role

We are seeking a Regional HR Generalist to support our business development, primarily for Colombia (60%) and with involvement in regional projects (40%). The role combines day‑to‑day HR operations with strategic business partnering for the local business while contributing to cross‑market HR initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for assigned functions, ensuring timely delivery, quality hires and alignment with workforce planning and hiring budgets.
• Handle Employee Relations cases, including disciplinary actions, investigations and employee communications.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies while maintaining smooth daily HR operations.
• Partner with business teams to support people‑related decisions, performance management, talent development and succession planning.
• Provide HR insights based on key metrics such as turnover, engagement and performance.
• Participate in HR policy and process improvement, supporting regional projects and change initiatives.
• Maintain HR data accuracy using HRIS/E‑HR platforms and support regular reporting and basic analysis.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of HR experience combining business partnering and generalist operations.
• Proven experience supporting multiple countries or regions, preferably in the power/energy/industrial sector.
• Exposure to sales and technical recruitment.
• Familiarity with Latin American markets (Brazil, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, etc.) is advantageous.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment juggling recruitment and operational HR responsibilities.
