Regional Physical Security Manager (EU/LAC)

About the role

Munich Re Group, within its Global Real Estate & Services division, is looking for a Regional Physical Security Manager based in Bogotá, Colombia, to strengthen its Global Corporate Security function. The role supports a growing security organization by coordinating, standardizing and continuously improving physical security practices across several locations, working with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with physical security standards and regulatory requirements
• Carry out risk assessments and security surveys in line with global policies and local regulations
• Manage access control systems, visitor management processes and security platforms
• Oversee incident management, including tracking, documentation and follow-up
• Ensure the functionality and continuous improvement of security technologies such as CCTV and access control
• Support the implementation of new security technologies and digital solutions
• Manage and optimize security data, reporting and platforms to support decision-making
• Coordinate and manage external vendors, ensuring service quality, performance and cost efficiency
• Drive process optimization and collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen security frameworks
• Train employees on security procedures and access control best practices

Required profile

• Significant experience in corporate physical security, preferably in an international environment
• University degree in security management or a related field (postgraduate studies a plus)
• Knowledge of risk management and security assessment methodologies
• Familiarity with security systems, including access control and CCTV
• Strong project management, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional, multicultural teams
• Advanced English (written and spoken); Spanish required
