Registered Nurse (All Shifts) – Full Time

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse (RN) to work all shifts in a long‑term care facility. The RN will support the Director of Nursing Services in overseeing daily nursing activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering high‑quality resident care.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in managing day‑to‑day nursing operations.
• Develop, maintain, and update nursing policies, procedures, and the Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
• Ensure reference materials (e.g., professional standards, regulations) at nurses’ stations are current.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to maintain continuity of care.
• Participate in quality‑assurance programs and facility surveys conducted by government agencies.
• Review and update resident discharge plans and assist in planning discharge nursing services.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
• Complete accident/incident reports, medical forms, evaluations, and charting.
• Interpret department policies for staff, residents, visitors, and regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in long‑term care or similar healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of nursing regulations, professional standards, and discharge planning.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
