Remote Accountant (US Business Hours)

About the role

Touch Support is expanding its Accounting team to serve clients worldwide. This fully remote position accepts applicants from anywhere in Colombia and works US business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts.
• Process fortnightly payroll and all associated month‑end payroll reconciliations.
• Prepare month‑end financial statements, conduct general ledger reviews and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare, verify, and process financial documents such as invoices, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and business expenses.
• Verify balances in account books, rectify discrepancies, and manage day‑to‑day financial transactions and vendor communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least two years of relevant accounting and bookkeeping experience.
• Good knowledge of English, both written and verbal.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive problem‑solver.
• Availability to work US business hours (7 AM – 3 PM CDT).

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with QuickBooks.
• Experience with PointClickCare.
• Experience with Sage Intacct.
