Remote Rails Developer (Full‑Stack)

About the role

BairesDev is seeking a Remote Rails Developer to lead full‑stack engineering efforts, combining robust Ruby on Rails back‑ends with modern front‑end frameworks. You will deliver high‑performance web applications that serve global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable full‑stack web applications using Ruby on Rails and React or Vue.
• Develop and optimise RESTful APIs to enable efficient communication between front‑end and back‑end.
• Write clean, maintainable Ruby code and implement automated tests with RSpec.
• Manage data persistence and optimise complex queries in PostgreSQL databases.
• Implement asynchronous processing and background jobs to improve system responsiveness.
• Deploy and manage applications within AWS environments, ensuring reliable and secure cloud operations.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience focused on Ruby on Rails.
• Proven expertise building full‑stack applications with Rails back‑ends and React front‑ends.
• Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL and automated testing using RSpec.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS deployment and managing asynchronous processing tasks.
• Solid understanding of TypeScript within modern web frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
