Remote Recruiter (Latin America)

About the role

A startup is looking for a proactive, relationship-driven Recruiter working remotely from Latin America, Monday to Friday (about 7 hours per day, flexible local time). The role is not just about screening resumes: it calls for a person who builds genuine connections with candidates and adapts as the company's needs change. No prior recruiting experience is required; the company hires for attitude and trains for skill.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment process, including screening, interviewing and scheduling candidates.
• Act as an advocate for candidates, giving them a respectful, human-centric experience.
• Work with Marketing, Sales and Leadership so hiring matches the company's scaling goals.
• Maintain a steady bench of talent for high-turnover or high-growth roles.

Required profile

• Owns their own metrics and brings solutions rather than just reporting problems.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to shift focus as priorities change.
• Top-tier written and spoken English, able to lead interviews and build rapport.
• Experience in client-facing roles; understands recruiting as a sales role.
• Willingness to learn the details of departments such as Logistics, Sales and Tech.
• Ability to work 35 hours per week.

Required skills

• Natural tech savviness and quick mastery of new tools.
• High data integrity within the ATS platform.
