Remote Regional Operations Owner

About the role

Bijou Getaways is a small, owner-run vacation rental company with about 42 homes across several US and international destinations, run remotely with software and AI bots watching cleanings, check-ins and maintenance. This is a regional operations owner role with real guest contact, reporting to the Senior Operations Manager. Pay is $1,000-$1,500 USD per month.

Key responsibilities

• Own every check-in: ensure Final QC passes (with RapidEye or equivalent proof) before the guest arrives, chase cleaners and vendors, and update the guest.
• Own the board: Cleaning Issues, Maintenance, 7 Days, Claims and the daily checklist, with photo or video proof for every completed item.
• Respond quickly to bot and human flags, question wrong dates or units, and close with proof.
• Coordinate vendors and cleaners: schedule trades only into vacant windows or with written guest consent, and confirm fixes with photos.
• Handle guest problems end to end, escalate refunds, discounts and safety issues in one line, and keep response rate above 90%.
• Never downgrade a P0 priority; hand off open risks cleanly at the end of each shift.

Required profile

• 2-5+ years owning operations with a ticket queue (hotel ops, AGM, housekeeping supervision, multi-unit STR dispatch, or regional guest and vendor coordination).
• Excellent written English (C1); Spanish is a strong plus, often required for Latin American vendor networks.
• Comfortable with Slack, Monday.com (or Asana/ClickUp), WhatsApp and Google Workspace; Guesty, Airbnb, Booking.com or RapidEye experience is a plus.
• Available 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, Pacific Time, working weekends, with camera on and Time Doctor running all shifts.
