Remote Staff Accountant (Colombia)

About the role

Willow Processing is looking for a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to join its remote team in Colombia. You will support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate ledger records, and ensure timely processing of refunds and credit‑card expenses while working aligned with US business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Manage general ledger entries and daily accounting tasks in QuickBooks.
• Perform accurate and timely account reconciliations.
• Track, review, and reconcile company credit‑card expenses.
• Process client and vendor refunds as required.
• Maintain complete financial records, journals, and supporting documentation.
• Identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and resolve issues with internal teams.
• Assist with month‑end closing procedures and improve accounting workflows.

Required profile

• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Prior experience as a Staff Accountant, Bookkeeper, or similar financial administration role.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Mortgage industry experience is a plus but not required.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks accounting software.
