Research Manager, Real World Evidence (RWLP) - Remote (EMEA or LATAM)

About the role

Syneos Health is hiring a Research Manager, Real World Evidence (RWE) for a remote position based in EMEA or LATAM. The role executes claims database analyses, prospective and retrospective multi-site observational studies and patient-reported outcomes studies, produces high-quality RWE research and raises awareness of RWE. A large part of the work is medical writing, supporting the design and execution of RWE studies.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of study protocols across global and regional claims database studies, multi-site observational studies, PRO studies and systematic literature reviews.
• Deliver project outputs on time and within budget, meeting quality standards.
• Prepare draft study reports and external publications under supervision.
• Help develop materials for congress presentations and manuscripts.
• Act as primary sponsor contact for assigned projects and take part in business development activities.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of related industry experience.
• Advanced degree (Master's) in epidemiology, economics, public health or another health-related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 2 years of experience writing protocols, study reports and similar documents for RWE/RWLP work.
• Regional real-world research experience.
• Fluent written English; regional language fluency preferred (Japanese, Chinese, Korean).
• Ability to travel approximately 10-15% of the time.

Required skills

• Understanding of retrospective and prospective research methods and phase IIIB/IV study designs.
• Knowledge of HEOR and related methodology.
• Extensive computer experience and knowledge of statistical software.
• Strong written and oral communication, presentation and teamwork skills.
