Restoration Technician

About the role

As a Restoration Technician you will respond to emergency situations such as water and fire damage, helping property owners restore their homes and businesses to pre‑loss condition. You will work on‑site, often outdoors, using specialized equipment to extract water, dry structures and clean up damage.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess damage.
• Perform restoration activities including water extraction, fire damage cleanup, specialty equipment setup and demolition.
• Load, inventory and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment and supplies for each project.
• Communicate safety hazards, job‑site findings and equipment needs to supervisors.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, addressing concerns and explaining the restoration process.
• Execute site clean‑up, drying and final restoration tasks.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work occasional on‑call shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Previous experience in restoration, construction or a related field (preferred).
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Ability to lift at least 50 lb regularly (up to 100 lb with assistance).
• Comfort working at heights, on ladders, in tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics.
• Capability to repeatedly push, pull, lift and carry objects.
• Experience handling cleaning agents and operating drying equipment.
