Retail Solutions Consultant (Pre/Post Sales)

About the role

Onebeat is seeking a Retail Solutions Consultant to act as a trusted advisor for retailers adopting its AI‑powered optimization platform. You will guide customers through discovery, solution design, and post‑implementation adoption, ensuring they realize measurable inventory and supply‑chain improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct discovery workshops with retail executives and operational leaders to identify business goals, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
• Translate business needs into practical solution recommendations and develop business cases.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Implementation teams to define solution scope, create presentations, and support pre‑sales engagements.
• Partner with Implementation and Customer Success teams during onboarding and go‑live to drive adoption and monitor performance.
• Facilitate executive business reviews, highlight value realized, and identify expansion opportunities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in retail technology consulting, software implementation, supply‑chain consulting, or retail transformation projects.
• Background working for a software vendor, consulting firm, implementation partner, or system integrator serving retail clients.
• Proven ability to lead discovery workshops, business assessments, and solution‑design engagements.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, replenishment, allocation, merchandise planning, demand planning, and overall retail operations.
