RTR Junior Lead – Accounting & Finance

About the role

The RTR Junior Lead will ensure data accuracy across all Record‑to‑Report activities and support the BPO team in India. You will act as the technical leader for your area, driving process compliance and continuous improvement while collaborating with global finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily team activities and serve as the technical point of contact for the assigned RTR scope.
• Conduct regular meetings to discuss issues, resolve them, and escalate when necessary.
• Ensure departmental systems and procedures comply with company policies and Sarbanes‑Oxley controls.
• Identify and recommend process improvements for efficiency and control.
• Support the integration of new businesses into the Shared Services Center.
• Follow the Corporate Closing Calendar and meet all task deadlines with high quality.
• Assist internal and external audits and provide balance‑sheet reviews for Controllership teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of experience in Record‑to‑Report (RTR) functions, including GL accounting.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and internal control practices.
• Goal‑oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Willingness to learn, innovate, and contribute to a high‑performing team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems (preferred).
• Knowledge of US GAAP (preferred).
