Sales Support Specialist - Critical Power

About the role

ABB is hiring a Sales Support Specialist in Bogota to support its Electrification Critical Power business line and customers during technical advice and solutions. The role is part of the Electrification Team in Colombia and reports to the Sales, Service and Project Execution Regional Leader for Critical Power in Latin America. It is a hybrid position.

Key responsibilities

• Offer technical advice and solutions on customer, channel and sales specialist inquiries about ABB Critical Power products, systems and applications.
• Perform analytical and diagnostic studies to find the optimal technical solution for customer needs and complex inquiries.
• Develop and maintain new sales opportunities, resolve specific customer problems and support order and revenue targets.
• Ensure budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, are met across the assigned Critical Power product lines in the region.
• Prepare technical descriptions of products and technology, determine costs and prepare final documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles or as an Application Engineer.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related field (licensed or certified engineer).
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Experience with critical power equipment such as switchgear, PDUs and UPS.
