Salesforce Architect

About the role

Kaseya, a provider of AI-powered IT management and cybersecurity software for MSPs and internal IT organizations, is looking for a Technical Architect, Salesforce. The role is the technical leader and strategic advisor for a team of about 25 Salesforce engineers, including leads and senior developers, and covers the design, integration and optimization of Salesforce solutions, with a focus on Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA) and DevOps automation through Gearset.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture review board and define end-to-end architecture for Salesforce solutions, including CPQ, RCA, integrations and custom development frameworks.
• Architect and build scalable solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and related technologies.
• Provide technical direction, code review and solution oversight for about 25 engineers, and coach and mentor team members.
• Oversee implementation and deployment of Salesforce solutions, and govern Gearset pipelines for CI/CD, automated testing and deployment across environments.
• Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, security standards and code quality through automated PMD scans, code reviews and deployment policies.
• Partner with product managers, business analysts and QA teams to deliver releases using Agile and Jira-based tracking, and analyze system performance and drive root cause analysis.
• Evaluate new Salesforce features, platform releases and third-party tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including 3+ years as a technical architect or lead developer.
• Demonstrated technical leadership, architecture guidance and code review across Salesforce teams.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and documentation skills.
• Preferred: experience scaling mid-sized engineering teams, setting architecture standards, and integrating Salesforce with ERP, billing, data warehouse and other enterprise systems.

Required skills

• Gearset pipelines, CI/CD, automated testing and deployments.
• Agile development with Jira.
• Preferred certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I, JavaScript Developer I, CPQ, Application Architect, System/Integration/Data Architect, OmniStudio, and Technical Architect (CTA).
