Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer

About the role

Slalom is looking for an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join its consulting team. You will work directly with clients to design, build, and optimise marketing automation solutions that drive engagement and measurable business results.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement customised marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Create and maintain email templates, CloudPages, automations, data extensions and multi‑channel campaigns (email, SMS, push, social).
• Integrate Marketing Cloud with CRM, CMS and other third‑party systems via REST and SOAP APIs.
• Monitor deliverability, analyse performance metrics and provide actionable optimisation insights.
• Provide client training, support and stay current with platform updates.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, hybrid environment.

Required skills

• Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email, Mobile, Web, Advertising, Journey Builder).
• AMPscript, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• REST and SOAP API development and integration.
• Understanding of data protection regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
