About the role
Kyndryl is seeking a Data Management professional to design, implement, and maintain robust database solutions for clients. You will work with a variety of relational and non‑relational technologies, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and optimize Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and cloud‑based database platforms.
- Monitor performance, tune queries, and implement backup, recovery, and high‑availability strategies.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on database‑related projects and evaluate emerging technologies.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in database and application administration.
- Customer‑focused mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
Required skills
- Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL.
- Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database, Google Cloud SQL).
- Database tuning, performance monitoring, backup and disaster recovery.
