SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud SD Consultant

About the role

Aptimized is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud SD (Sales & Distribution) Consultant with 5+ years of SAP functional consulting experience. The role covers implementing and supporting SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud solutions, with hands-on work in sales, order-to-cash processes, public cloud configuration, business process design, integrations, testing and user training.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and take part in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud SD implementations and support projects.
• Gather and analyse business requirements from stakeholders.
• Configure and optimise SAP SD functionalities in S/4HANA Public Cloud.
• Design and implement end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, covering sales orders, quotations, contracts, pricing procedures, output management, shipping and delivery, billing and invoicing, credit management, returns management and third-party and intercompany sales.
• Work with business users to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Run Fit-to-Standard workshops using SAP Activate methodology.
• Support data migration, testing, cutover and go-live, and collaborate with FI, MM, EWM, TM, CS and other teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues, prepare functional specifications and support integration development.
• Deliver user training and create process documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or a related field.
• 5+ years of SAP SD consulting experience.
• At least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation.
• Experience supporting UAT, SIT and production deployments.
• Strong business requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills, and excellent client-facing communication.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of O2C, sales order processing, pricing and condition techniques, delivery and billing processes, and returns processing.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori applications.
• Fit-to-Standard workshop experience.
