Sea Logistics Customer Care Specialist (Import)

About the role

Kuehne+Nagel is looking for a Sea Logistics Customer Care Specialist (import, in-house) in Cali. You will build strong relationships with customers, understand their needs and coordinate with operational teams so that maritime shipments are handled quickly and with high quality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and strengthen customer relationships throughout their sea logistics operations.
• Attend to customer requests, inquiries and operational requirements, responding promptly and effectively.
• Follow up on maritime shipments and give customers clear, accurate information about their operations.
• Maintain close communication with the OCC at Kuehne+Nagel.
• Coordinate customer requirements with the operational back office to ensure correct shipment execution.
• Follow up on operational and financial information related to customer shipments.
• Review, validate and update information in databases.

Required profile

• Background in international trade, logistics, business administration or a related field.
• About 1-2 years of experience in customer service / customer care.
• Previous experience in freight forwarding, cargo agencies, customs agencies or similar logistics environments.
• Knowledge of international trade and maritime logistics operations.
• Experience in customer-facing roles handling requests, inquiries and operational follow-up.
• Export experience is highly desirable; import experience is also considered.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the financial management of shipments.
