Security Operations Analyst L2 (SOC) – Remote

About the role

Supply Chimp is seeking a Security Operations Analyst Level 2 to independently execute day‑to‑day security operations. The role focuses on monitoring, alert triage, compliance activities, incident response support, risk assessment, and security testing while contributing to process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security alerts, investigate events, document findings, and escalate as needed.
• Execute recurring security and compliance reviews, collect and maintain evidence, and track remediation of findings.
• Perform vulnerability, endpoint, configuration, backup, and access reviews; verify remediation and evaluate least‑privilege controls.
• Create and maintain security procedures, runbooks, and testing artifacts; design and run phishing simulations.
• Collaborate with IT, Engineering, and other teams on security findings, remediation, and user‑facing security needs.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in security operations or related fields.
• Ability to work independently, manage recurring tasks, and make sound judgments with incomplete information.
• Strong written communication skills for clear documentation and cross‑functional collaboration.

Required skills

• Security monitoring and SIEM tools (alert triage, investigation, query capabilities).
• Microsoft security and identity technologies: Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Conditional Access.
• Vulnerability management, endpoint security, access control, logging, and incident response.
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as CMMC, NIST SP 800‑171, PCI DSS.

What we offer

• Monthly salary between COP 6,500,000 and COP 8,500,000.
