Senior Account Executive – Commercial

About the role

Genesys is looking for a Senior Account Executive – Commercial to help organisations deliver AI‑powered customer experiences. In this role you will act as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships, driving revenue growth and ensuring high customer satisfaction across both new and existing accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage customer relationships through in‑person and virtual engagements.
• Understand client business objectives and recommend appropriate Genesys products and solutions.
• Create and execute medium‑ and long‑term account strategies to retain, grow, and diversify relationships.
• Identify opportunities to expand revenue within existing accounts and secure new business.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert for assigned products and solutions, communicating value to customers.
• Conduct consultative sales activities, including presentations, demos, negotiations, and contract discussions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful customer outcomes.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to inform sales plans.
• Maintain accurate account plans, forecasts, and records.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in account management, direct sales, or business development.
• Proven ability to manage complex customer relationships and achieve revenue targets.
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
• Ability to analyse customer needs and develop strategic solutions that deliver business value.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and lead complex projects.
