Senior Accountant

About the role

We are a growth‑financing marketplace helping small‑business owners access capital and financial management services. We seek a Senior Accountant to lead comprehensive accounting operations for multiple client entities, delivering accurate reporting and high‑quality service in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books for numerous clients, including daily reconciliations and month‑end close.
• Manage full AP/AR cycles and ensure organized financial records.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements for client‑ready presentation.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end close processes, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve complex accounting discrepancies, ensuring data integrity.
• Handle multi‑entity accounting cases, propose adjustments, and leverage AI and automation tools to improve efficiency.
• Adapt quickly to new technology platforms, APIs, and AI‑powered accounting solutions.
• Support process‑improvement initiatives and provide clear financial insights to clients.
• Collaborate with Tax and Customer Experience teams for seamless data flow.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of U.S. GAAP and IFRS accounting experience, including multi‑entity structures.
• Tech‑savvy with a strong aptitude for learning new software, AI tools, and automation platforms.
• Client‑facing experience with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and willingness to master emerging fintech solutions.
• Detail‑oriented, accountable, and deadline‑driven.
