Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will lead a range of accounting activities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, corporate policies, and audit requirements. Reporting to the Chief of Finance, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive accurate financial reporting and process improvements in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute day‑to‑day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, banking, fixed assets, and general ledger entries.
• Lead full‑cycle month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes, preparing journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and expense recognition.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to GAAP and tax regulations.
• Partner with HR to verify payroll, commissions, and tax reporting.
• Develop and implement new accounting procedures and process enhancements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and preparation of non‑income tax filings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience, including audit exposure.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
