About the role
Geodis, a global leader in supply chain solutions, is hiring a Senior Accountant with a strong focus on payroll in Bogotá. The role combines financial accounting with payroll management within a multinational environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and execute journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations accurately.
- Manage payroll processes, ensuring compliance and precision.
- Support monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and US GAAP in all financial reporting.
- Contribute to the optimization and improvement of financial processes.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial accounting.
- Proven experience in payroll, IFRS and US GAAP.
- Good command of English, oral and written, to work in a multinational environment.
Required skills
- Analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
