Senior Accountant (Remote, English required)

About the role

The company is a fast‑growing B2B SaaS provider for public transit and mobility operations. It seeks a highly analytical Senior Accountant to strengthen accounting operations, improve financial visibility, and support sustainable growth. The role is fully remote and open to Colombia‑based candidates who are fluent in English.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and support full‑cycle financial statements and monthly financial reports.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes, including variance analysis against departmental budgets.
• Maintain and reconcile balance‑sheet accounts, accruals, prepaids, and intercompany activity.
• Manage revenue recognition for SaaS subscription, usage‑based, and contract‑based billing models.
• Reconcile deferred revenue, unbilled accounts receivable, and support complex revenue‑related accounting treatments.
• Partner with internal teams to resolve billing, revenue, and reporting discrepancies.

Required profile

• Proven experience with U.S. accounting processes, financial reporting, and month‑end close.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced remote environment.
• Experience in SaaS, technology, or subscription‑based businesses is highly preferred.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
