Senior AI Integration Engineer

About the role

Coforge is seeking a Senior AI Integration Engineer to design and implement secure, scalable APIs and connectors that enable AI agents to interact with enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop reusable APIs, connectors, MCP tools, and service contracts for AI agents.
• Integrate AI agents with platforms such as SharePoint, SAP, Databricks, SQL and other critical systems.
• Implement workflow orchestration, state management, retries, exception handling and automation while ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Apply authentication, authorization, RBAC, source restrictions, least‑privilege principles and API governance across all integrations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise integration, backend or platform engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or .NET.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure Functions and Azure API Management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.

Required skills

• Design and development of REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with MCP, workflow orchestration and enterprise integration patterns.
• Deep understanding of OAuth, RBAC, API security and least‑privilege principles.
• Knowledge of Azure services, DevOps practices and secure cloud‑native integration.
