Senior Analyst, Billing Operations

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Analyst to lead Billing Operations within its AR Portal Administration team. The role focuses on managing portal activities related to outstanding payments, ensuring accurate invoicing, and supporting customers throughout the onboarding and invoice upload processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in onboarding customers into payment and invoicing portals.
• Set up and maintain accurate customer profiles in relevant portals.
• Coordinate with customers to meet portal requirements, including documentation and authentication.
• Troubleshoot and resolve portal‑related issues promptly.
• Upload invoices and credit notes to customer portals with precision and meet deadlines.
• Verify uploaded invoices for compliance with customer requirements and company policies.
• Act as the primary point of contact for portal queries from customers and internal teams.
• Liaise with Account Managers, Sales, and Product Owners to gather and validate customer information.
• Communicate portal updates, changes, or issues to customers in a timely manner.
• Identify inefficiencies in onboarding and invoice upload processes and propose improvements.
• Maintain documentation of procedures, best practices, and troubleshooting steps.
• Ensure compliance with data protection standards and internal policies.
• Generate and distribute reports on portal activity, error resolution, and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with GBSC Collections to keep portals aligned with revenue generation goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation abilities and customer‑focused mindset.
