Senior Analyst GL Closing & Reporting

About the role

Sanofi Global Services Bogota Hub, part of Sanofi's Business Transformation organization, is looking for a Senior Analyst for General Ledger closing and reporting. The role sits in the Account-to-Report (A2R) process and delivers high-quality GL closing and reporting services, ensuring compliance with global standards and contributing to the efficiency and reliability of financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver monthly GL closing and reporting in line with SLAs, following Group timelines and procedures
• Review system interfaces and ensure accurate postings, including AR/AP sub-ledger closure and Balance Sheet and P&L validation
• Prepare and post manual journal entries, reconcile accounts and prepare management, tax, legal and statutory reports at Group and country level
• Generate ad-hoc reports and analysis, contribute to business reviews and ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls and SOX/audit requirements
• Deliver operational KPIs, anticipate operational issues and support or coach junior analysts, and document knowledge transfer of A2R processes
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting (required)
• Proven experience in GL accounting, closing and reporting
• Experience in international or shared services environments is a plus
• Advanced English required

Required skills

• SAP FICO (required)
• IFRS knowledge and exposure to local GAAPs is a plus
• Accounting tools such as Cadency are a plus
• Advanced MS Excel and Microsoft Office
