Senior Analyst, Risk Management

About the role

Mastercard’s Global Business Solutions Center is seeking a Senior Analyst to lead risk management initiatives across its shared‑services functions in Bogota. The role will support the GBSC Risk Manager in building and evolving an operational risk management program, ensuring that risks arising from processes, people, systems or external events are identified, assessed and mitigated.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the risk management process for the GBSC risk team, coordinating risk identification and mitigation activities.
• Assist management in identifying compliance risks and implement monitoring efforts to foster a compliance culture.
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of best practices for teammates and stakeholders.
• Identify control gaps, work with control owners to design sustainable remediation plans that meet regulatory and policy requirements.
• Proactively troubleshoot issues and provide discretional support to management when resolving risk‑related incidents.
• Support the implementation and ongoing monitoring of operational risk across shared‑services functions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operational risk management, compliance or related finance functions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex processes and identify control weaknesses.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in risk‑related decisions.
