Senior Analytics & Metrics Analyst

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Analytics and Metrics Analyst to drive automation and data‑analytics initiatives within its Finance domain. The role blends financial expertise with modern data‑engineering tools to deliver scalable, data‑driven solutions that improve business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop automated reporting and analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Excel, Power BI and Power Apps.
• Transform, analyze, and validate large datasets with PySpark.
• Build dashboards, reporting tools, and process automations to support business operations.
• Partner with business teams to gather requirements and deliver resilient solutions.
• Troubleshoot data and reporting issues while identifying process‑improvement opportunities.
• Research and apply emerging best practices independently.

Required profile

• Experience working with financial data, systems, or processes.
• Curiosity for learning new technologies and a process‑improvement mindset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate with technical and business users.
• Capability to manage multiple projects in an ambiguous, fluid environment.
