Senior Automation Engineer

About the role

EPAM is looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to lead the automation testing strategy across multiple projects. You will mentor a team of engineers, shape testing approaches, and ensure seamless integration with modern development workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the overall test automation strategy.
• Configure tools and set up environments to support automation initiatives.
• Extend the existing Katalon Studio framework and author detailed test cases for critical functional areas.
• Run test suites, track results, and produce clear, stakeholder‑friendly reports.
• Integrate Katalon automation reports with Polarion for centralized tracking.
• Validate custom keywords and deploy automation setups for smooth operations.
• Establish consistent test processes, roles, and responsibilities within the team.
• Educate team members on best practices and guide them throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in automation engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with automation testing in DevOps pipelines.
• Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and communicate test automation strategy.
• Strong English communication skills (B2 level or higher).
