Senior Automation QA Engineer – Manual & Automation Expertise

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability and scalability of our blockchain‑based digital asset trading platform. You will work closely with software engineers and product managers to deliver secure, high‑performance products while continuously improving our release lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and manage test cases, report test and defect metrics.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Identify, record, document and track bugs throughout the lifecycle.
• Perform thorough regression testing after bug fixes.
• Design, develop and run automation scripts using internal frameworks.
• Create and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
• Advocate for quality, improve test tooling and automation.
• Collaborate with engineers to remove bottlenecks in the release process.
• Stay current with emerging testing tools and strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• ~8 years of hands‑on manual and automated testing (or ~6 years with an advanced degree).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with rapid iteration and CI/CD‑driven releases.
• Strong proficiency in Java and/or Python.
• Proven ability to design and maintain test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Experience testing mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications.
• Familiarity with security testing fundamentals (OWASP Top 10).
