Senior Automation Tester (C++)

About the role

EPAM is seeking a Senior Automation Tester to define and drive automation strategy for a large‑scale game development lifecycle. You will lead a small technical QA team, expand automated coverage, and work closely with engineers to resolve complex issues.

Key responsibilities

• Define test strategy and test plans across the full development lifecycle.
• Lead automation direction, prioritize technical objectives and build/extend automated test suites using existing frameworks.
• Maintain and improve test automation framework architecture for scalability and reliability.
• Execute and oversee regression cycles, including targeted manual playthroughs.
• Drive defect triage, collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot critical issues and communicate actionable insights.
• Coach and mentor the QA team on tools, standards and best practices.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software testing experience.
• 2+ years of hands‑on automated testing or scripting.
• Strong C++ proficiency for test automation and technical troubleshooting.
• Upper‑Intermediate English (B2) for clear cross‑team communication.
