Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

About the role

Blankfactor is seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and operation of highly scalable and secure cloud infrastructure for its fintech clients. You will drive automation, observability, and continuous delivery across Azure‑native environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, provision, and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform (IaC).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple environments.
• Deploy and operate AKS clusters with advanced networking, Istio service mesh, and pod security policies.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Datadog.
• Manage GitOps workflows using ArgoCD.
• Secure resources via Azure Key Vault, RBAC, network policies, and WAF.
• Collaborate with developers and architects to define best‑practice infrastructure standards.
• Create and maintain scripts in PowerShell, Bash, and YAML.
• Configure virtual networks, load balancers, DNS, and API gateways.
• Optimize storage and compute services such as Blob Storage, Azure SQL, and Azure Functions.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles, primarily on Azure.
• Proven ability to lead complex cloud projects and work cross‑functionally.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a focus on security and performance.

Required skills

• Azure Core Services: Storage Accounts, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Azure Cache, AKS.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Kubernetes, Istio, pod security, network policies.
• Observability with Datadog.
• GitOps using ArgoCD.
• Containerization with Docker.
• CI/CD pipeline creation (YAML, GitHub Actions preferred).
• Scripting in PowerShell and Bash.
• Azure networking: Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, DNS, WAF.
• Version control with GitHub.
