Senior Corporate Counsel, Andean Region

About the role

Clarios is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to lead legal matters across the Andean Region, providing comprehensive support in corporate, commercial, civil, criminal, contracts, compliance, governance, environmental, labor and employment, litigation prevention and regulatory issues.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Lead Legal Counsel for the Andean Region, delivering strategic legal advice to business leaders and participating in high‑level discussions.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, manage external counsel and drive litigation‑prevention initiatives.
• Oversee labor and employment matters, including union relations, investigations, training and dispute resolution across LATAM.
• Identify, assess and mitigate legal risks while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and corporate policies.

Required profile

• Attorney with 10–15 years of experience, qualified to practice law in Colombia and strong in‑house experience in multinational companies.
• Demonstrated expertise in labor and employment law, regional legal support and strategic business partnering.
• Advanced degree or specialization required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Legal Operations tools to improve legal efficiency.
