Senior Credit Controller (Advanced English Required)

About the role

NielsenIQ is looking for a Senior Credit Controller in Bogota. The role is responsible for collecting debt owed to NiQ by third parties, working with the order-to-cash team and operational teams across the NiQ Group to minimize overdue debt and days sales outstanding while maximizing cash flow. It provides a proactive, responsive and quality-driven credit control service in line with the entity's SLAs and KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Control and reduce third-party debt by managing the assigned trade debtor ledger proactively, setting monthly targets on DSO, receivables overdue, collection ratio and dispute turnaround time
• Process and distribute reports such as trade debtor outstanding balance, cash flow forecast, dispute report and bad debt provision
• Monitor and record customer account details for non-payment, delayed payment and other irregularities
• Identify overdue accounts to avoid recovery risks, following NiQ's policies and procedures
• Escalate with the Revenue Controller and Customer Service to agree actions with the commercial area for recovering past-due accounts
• Request and support re-invoicing according to client specifications, follow up with the revenue associate and clarify requests
• Provide customer service on collection issues, review account adjustments, resolve disputes and short payments, and work with commercial teams so that incoming queries are answered promptly
• Perform other assigned tasks supporting the Local Finance / I2C team, and communicate professionally with internal and external customers

Required profile
