Senior Cybersecurity Operations Analyst

About the role

The Senior Cybersecurity Operations Analyst leads technical security initiatives, supports incident response, threat monitoring, and vulnerability management, and provides risk‑based guidance to IT and business stakeholders. This role also contributes to the security roadmap and the development of operational playbooks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead analysis and resolution of complex security incidents and service requests, including root‑cause investigations and post‑incident recommendations.
• Support and optimize security monitoring platforms (SIEM, EDR, firewalls, DLP) and analyze logs, vulnerability data, and anomalies to identify threats.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize vulnerabilities across IT, OT, cloud, and endpoint environments, coordinating remediation based on risk and asset criticality.
• Maintain and improve incident response playbooks, operational procedures, and conduct readiness exercises aligned with industry standards.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert for IT projects, audits, and risk assessments, contributing to security roadmap and technology evaluations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, Azure Security, CCSP, or equivalent.

Required skills

• Security monitoring and analysis tools: SIEM, EDR, firewalls, DLP.
• Vulnerability management expertise (CVSS, exploitability, risk acceptance workflows).
• Digital forensics and malware analysis.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Cloud security principles: IAM, secure configuration, logging, CSPM.
• Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework and defensive strategies.
