Senior Data Engineer - Snowflake & Dataiku POC

About the role

Blend360 is looking for a Senior Data Engineer in Bogotá to support the design, development and optimization of data solutions for a high-impact enterprise initiative. The role focuses on preparing and enabling the Snowflake data required for a Dataiku PO agent Proof of Concept (POC), ensuring data is ingested, transformed, standardized and structured so that downstream analytical workflows can run reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, structure and enable the Snowflake data needed for the Dataiku PO agent POC.
• Design, develop and maintain data pipelines that ingest, transform, normalize and prepare data from multiple sources.
• Implement data ingestion workflows in Snowflake that are scalable, reliable and maintainable.
• Develop and maintain data models supporting analytical use cases and the POC requirements.
• Implement data quality checks and validation rules to ensure accuracy, consistency, completeness and reliability.
• Use SQL and Python to process, transform and validate large datasets, and fix data inconsistencies and anomalies.
• Support ETL processes and file-handling workflows for structured and semi-structured data.
• Work with business and technical stakeholders to turn their data needs into reliable solutions, and contribute to technical documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Analytics roles with a strong engineering focus.
• Proven experience in data quality validation and in building and maintaining ETL pipelines and ingestion workflows.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
• Nice to have: experience connecting Snowflake with Dataiku, and familiarity with AI-driven or agent-based proof-of-concept initiatives.

Required skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (must-have).
• Strong SQL skills, including transformation, querying and validation.
• Data modeling and preparation of datasets for analytical use.
• Hands-on Python for data processing and transformation.
