Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

EPAM is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain multi‑cloud Kubernetes infrastructure on AWS and Azure. You will work with GitOps practices and infrastructure‑as‑code to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure platform operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage production Kubernetes clusters (EKS on AWS, AKS on Azure) across dev, UAT, and prod environments and multiple regions.
• Implement GitOps workflows with ArgoCD and automate deployments using Argo Workflows and Argo Rollouts.
• Build infrastructure‑as‑code solutions with Terraform and manage Kubernetes applications with Helm/Helmfile.
• Monitor cluster health using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch and set up alerting and incident response.
• Manage operators and controllers such as cert‑manager, cluster‑autoscaler, and CSI drivers.
• Apply security best practices: network policies, pod security policies, secrets management, RBAC.
• Diagnose complex issues across compute, networking, and storage layers.
• Collaborate with development teams to refine deployment strategies and optimize resource usage.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in cloud Kubernetes engineering.
• Strong communication skills with English fluency (B2 or higher).
• Experience with multi‑cloud environments (AWS and Azure).
