Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) – Entertainment

About the role

Truelogic is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) to support financial planning, reporting, and analysis for an entertainment-focused business unit within a shared services environment. The role bridges FP&A and Accounting to ensure accurate financial visibility and alignment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the monthly FP&A close, aligning actuals with budget and forecast.
• Analyze P&L performance, identify variance drivers and trends.
• Lead revenue recognition compliance (ASC 606 / IFRS 15) and coordinate with Accounting.
• Perform Work in Progress (WIP) reconciliations and ensure proper revenue‑cost matching.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and capital/WIP projections.
• Deliver ad‑hoc financial analysis and deep dives for strategic decisions.
• Act as a quality‑control layer between accounting outputs and FP&A insights.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or hybrid accounting/finance roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 / IFRS 15).
• Proven track record conducting WIP reconciliations and project accounting analysis.
• Advanced expertise in financial analysis, variance analysis, and core financial statements.
• Experience in a shared services or multi‑entity environment is a plus.
