Senior Forward Deployed Engineer - AI Solutions

About the role

Publicis Sapient is looking for a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to work at the intersection of software engineering, AI and client delivery. You will partner directly with stakeholders to design, build and deploy enterprise-grade AI solutions, helping clients accelerate AI adoption with technologies such as Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Azure AI services and Java-based application development.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy enterprise AI solutions using RAG architectures, large language models and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Build client-facing AI applications in Java with modern cloud-native practices.
• Integrate and optimize AI platforms including Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Azure OpenAI and other Azure AI services.
• Partner with clients to turn business problems into technical solutions and speed up delivery.
• Develop scalable APIs, services and integrations, and implement vector search, knowledge retrieval, prompt engineering and grounding strategies.
• Support deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement of AI applications in Azure environments.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, product managers and domain experts, and contribute to AI accelerators and reusable assets.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience delivering AI solutions directly within client environments.
• Knowledge of agentic AI frameworks, autonomous workflows and multi-agent architectures.
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure Machine Learning or enterprise AI platforms.
• Exposure to LangChain, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with containerization and cloud deployment tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of enterprise architecture, security, compliance and scalable cloud design.
• Contributions to AI accelerators, reusable frameworks, open-source projects or internal innovation initiatives.
