Senior Front-End Developer React

About the role

AgilityFeat is recruiting a Senior Front-End Developer for a North American client in the lending and mortgages industry, based in Colombia. The role is full-time and remote, with 1 to 3 on-site visits per month. You will design, develop and maintain the scalable front end of a modern, cloud-native tech platform delivering a digital mortgage experience, working closely with back-end developers, marketing and mortgage specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate on and lead complex technical projects, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
• Drive initiatives to improve code quality, workflows and team best practices.
• Write automated tests and work closely with QA for reliable code delivery.
• Leverage AI tools to optimize workflows and improve efficiency.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including backend and data teams, to deliver scalable applications.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
• Demonstrated ability to influence technical decisions and lead change, with experience in a leadership or influential role.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent English (B2+), written and spoken; all communications must be in English.
• Experience in agile teams using Scrum or Kanban.
• Ability to work remotely with headset and camera, in a quiet place with a reliable internet connection.

Required skills

• TypeScript and the React ecosystem (Next.js is a plus).
• CSS/SASS, modern CSS frameworks and responsive design.
• Frontend performance optimization and monitoring tools.
• Microservices architecture and API integration patterns.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, RESTful APIs and CI/CD pipelines (Google Cloud Build, Codefresh).
