Senior Frontend Engineer – Global EdTech Platform

About the role

We are building a new global Berlitz learning platform and need a senior frontend engineer to lead the development of a greenfield web client that serves learners, teachers, staff and enterprise customers. The role is 100 % remote, preferably within European time zones, and involves end‑to‑end ownership from design to release.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement features in React and TypeScript, including routing, state management and integration with a shared design‑system.
• Co‑design typed API contracts with backend teams and extend backend code when needed.
• Own the full delivery pipeline: build configuration, bundling, versioning, environment promotion and production release.
• Ensure performance, responsiveness and WCAG‑level accessibility across devices.
• Integrate AI‑assisted tools such as Claude Code into daily development workflow.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience with production web applications.
• Strong expertise in React and TypeScript, including modern rendering and data‑fetching patterns.
• Full‑stack capability to design API contracts, write endpoints and reason about data models.
• Experience owning web release engineering end‑to‑end.
• Excellent communication skills to mentor peers and collaborate with parallel engineering teams.
