Senior Golang & RESTful API Engineer (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev, a technology consultancy with more than 15 years of experience and a team of 4,000+ remote engineers, is hiring a Senior Golang & RESTful API Engineer. The role involves designing and developing high-performance backend systems and scalable microservices, orchestrating data architectures and concurrent workflows across distributed enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable microservices and backend architectures using Go
• Create and optimize high-throughput RESTful APIs for seamless service integration
• Implement efficient concurrency patterns and handle complex distributed systems requirements
• Develop and manage data models using SQL and NoSQL storage solutions
• Ensure system reliability and scalability through containerization and cloud deployment workflows

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on Go development
• Proven experience with concurrency and distributed systems
• Solid hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores
• Familiarity with testing, containers and cloud deployment
• Advanced proficiency in English
