Senior Imaging Technician – PSI

About the role

Zimmer Biomet is seeking a Senior Imaging Technician specialized in Patient Specific Instruments (PSI). The role involves performing quality control on personalized surgical instruments, managing medical images, and serving as a subject‑matter expert for the PSI workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and approve patient medical images received from clients according to e‑Manufacturing instructions.
• Conduct quality control on image segmentations and custom instrument designs.
• Maintain accurate case records and documentation throughout the PSI production process.
• Participate in resolution of user complaints, non‑conformities and communicate solutions to clients.
• Support new product introductions and design transfer activities while meeting productivity and quality standards.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as an Imaging Technician (PSI I/II) or equivalent.
• Strong English writing and speaking skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train new team members and achieve quality and productivity targets.

Required skills

• CAD design and mechanical drawing (including 3‑D mechanical drawing).
• Proficiency with imaging technician tools and PSI workflows.
• Computer skills for handling medical image files and documentation.
• Quality control techniques for medical imaging and custom instruments.
