Senior Indirect Sourcing Specialist

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Senior Indirect Sourcing Specialist to lead end‑to‑end sourcing activities for the LATAM region. You will manage a portfolio of indirect spend, collaborate with global teams, and help drive cost, quality and service improvements across transportation, warehousing and trade compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Create value across approximately $150 M of annual indirect spend in LATAM.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Develop sourcing strategies that deliver sustainable competitive advantage.
• Conduct RF(x) events, negotiate contracts, and assess risk with legal partners.
• Support multi‑year pipeline planning and supplier stratification activities.
• Gather market intelligence, benchmark data and ensure compliance with purchasing controls.
• Educate and train stakeholders on indirect supply management policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree with relevant experience).
• Minimum five years of logistics or indirect sourcing experience (or three years with an advanced degree).
• Proven experience in supply chain, logistics or procurement sourcing.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English.
• Strong negotiation and analytical capabilities.
